Equal parts romance and tragedy, their beautiful melodies have the tendency to ignite into head-spinning walls of noise. Easily one of the most intense live bands ever, their sound proves to be every bit as triumphant as their name implies.

Veterans of New Haven’s fledgling DIY punk scene, Spit-take have been playing their distinct brand of homespun indie rock for over ten years (somehow!). After a decade of self-booked gigs in dingy basements, patchwork tours completed in over-packed station wagons, and obscure independent releases doomed to eventually line the discount bin of your local record shop, this show presents a unique opportunity to see this group of local weirdos on the big stage for once.
