Join New Reach for the 3rd annual Stand Up Against Homelessness at College Street Music Hall for a fun and hilarious night out to help end homelessness in Connecticut. This year’s event will feature stand-up comedian Gianmarco Soresi!
All proceeds will benefit New Reach programs and services that provide support for all people affected by homelessness and food insecurity.
Since 1990, New Reach has implemented best practices across the region to develop a continuum of housing interventions and supports – helping thousands of vulnerable households and families achieve stability and self-reliance. Today, the agency provides a full spectrum of housing services that meet the varying and complicated needs of at-risk families, youth, and individuals. From eviction prevention for public housing residents, to the development of affordable and supportive housing, and everything in between, New Reach serves thousands each year throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.
Gianmarco Soresi is a New York based stand-up comedian, actor, and creatorknown for his sharp societal observation and spry, energetic stagepresence. Gianmarco effortlessly commands a room with his animated style,blending upbeat candor with dark comedic beats — which has garnered himcritical acclaim from NPR, Esquire, The Atlantic, Buzzfeed, ABC News, andmany more. He’s performed stand-up on The Late Late Show with James Corden,Comedy Central, Don’t Tell, The Real Housewives of New York, and wasselected as a JFL New Face in 2022.
Gianmarco has also acted in Billy Crystal’s Here Today, Netflix’s Bonding, Hustlers, The Last OG, and is the host of the popular podcast “The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi.”
LeClerc Andre is a stand-up comedian from New York who is quickly building a name for himself. His quick wit and charm can be seen dazzling clubs and colleges across the country. LeClerc was recently featured at Just For Laughs Comedy Festival as one of the New Faces of Comedy which quickly spring-boarded him into his TV network debut on The Tonight Show w/Jimmy Fallon, as well as on NBC’s “Bring the Funny”.
He recorded his first comedy album, “I am LeClerc”, live at New York Comedy Club, and it was released in January 2023. Make sure to keep an eye out for this hilarious budding star.
